Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of afkdata.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from it. The Site is operated by AFKDATA PTY LTD (ABN 85 700 030 459), based in Australia. By placing an order or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Products

We sell the AFKdata Crypto Clock, an ESP32-based cryptocurrency price display kit, in a small number of colour variants. Kits are collated in Australia. Product descriptions, images and specifications are provided in good faith but may vary slightly from the finished item (e.g. minor cosmetic differences).

2. Orders & Payment

Prices are listed in AUD unless stated otherwise. We accept payment by credit/debit card (processed by Stripe) and by cryptocurrency (processed by Crypto.com Pay or NOWPayments). When paying with cryptocurrency, the amount due is converted at the exchange rate quoted by the payment processor at the time of payment; we do not control or guarantee that rate. We do not see or store your full card details — these are handled directly by our payment processors.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order (for example, for suspected fraud or stock errors), in which case any payment already taken will be refunded.

3. Waitlist & Preorders

When the Site is in waitlist mode, joining the waitlist only registers your interest and does not create a binding order or take payment. We'll email you when stock or preorders become available. Where preorders are open, the order and payment terms in this document apply in the same way as a regular order.

4. Shipping

We ship domestically within Australia and internationally. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout using Australia Post's rates where possible, or a flat rate where the destination isn't known in advance. Estimated dispatch and delivery times are provided in good faith; we are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, or events outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you once the order is handed to the shipping carrier.

5. Returns, Refunds & Warranty

If your kit arrives faulty or is not as described, contact us at [email protected] and we'll arrange a repair, replacement or refund. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Intellectual Property

The Site's content, branding, firmware, and product design are the property of AFKDATA PTY LTD unless otherwise stated, and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, AFKDATA PTY LTD's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site or products is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
