Works with Home Assistant

Enter your MQTT broker on the settings page and the clock appears in Home Assistant as a device, with no YAML to write. Automations can put an alert on screen, such as the doorbell or a finished wash, then switch back to whatever it was showing.

Setting it up

  1. Build the kit

    It goes together in 5–10 minutes with no tools. The assembly guide shows each step.

  2. Plug it in

    Connect the USB-C cable to a phone charger or a spare USB port.

  3. Join your WiFi

    On your phone, connect to the AFKdata network. A setup page opens: pick your home network and enter its password.

  4. Choose what it shows

    The screen shows its address as it starts up. Open that address in a browser on the same network to pick a mode, your coins and your currency.

Rather not use WiFi? Run it from Chrome or Edge on your computer over the USB-C cable instead.

Ordering and delivery

Where do you ship?
Most countries. Kits are collated in Australia and sent by Australia Post, and shipping is worked out from your address at checkout. A few countries Australia Post can't reach aren't available.
Who pays import taxes?
You do, where your country charges them. US orders also include a customs clearance fee at checkout.
How can I pay?
By card, or with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
What if it arrives faulty?
Email [email protected] and we'll arrange a repair, replacement or refund. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law also apply.
